History Built as Izrada 1915 renamed Poldennis 1921 renamed Izrada 1935 sold to Yugoslavia and renamed Bor for Brodarsko Akcionarsko Drustvo Oceania, Susak. In June 1941, she was seized by Britain, transferred to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and renamed Radbury
Notes on event

On 13 Aug 1944 the unescorted Radbury (Master John H. Gregory) was torpedoed and sunk by U-862 west of Madagascar. The master, 18 crew members and one gunner were lost. 30 crew members and five gunners made landfall on the uninhabited island of Europa in the Mozambique Channel on 16 August. Three crew members and one gunner left the island on a raft, but only one crew member reached Quelimane, Portuguese East Africa on 1 November. The remaining survivors were rescued on 27 October by HMS Linaria (K 282) (LtCdr R.H. Jameson) and landed at Kilindine, Kenya on 3 November.
