Notes on event | At 21.51 hours on 29 Aug 1943, U-18 fired one torpedo at the TSC-11 Dzhalita, observed a hit under the aft mast after 1 minute 55 seconds and further detonations as the ship sank quickly by the stern about 25 miles northwest of Poti. The survivors were picked up by the Soviet coastal minesweeper SKA-0108. |
