Notes on event | About 02.00 hours on 28 July 1943 the unescorted Rosalia (Master J. van der Linde) was hit by two torpedoes from U-615 about 10 miles south of Curaçao. The tanker broke in two, caught fire and sank at 04.25 hours. The survivors were picked up by the Dutch submarine chaser HNMS H-8 and the rescue boat MBR-50. | ||
