Notes on event | At 14.10 hours on 26 June 1943 the Nelly (T 34), of approx. 80 tons, was sunk by U-81 with 30 rounds from the deck gun about 25 miles southeast of Cape Greco, Cyprus. Its crew made landfall at Tripoli, Syria at 11.30 hours on 27 June. |
