Notes on event | At 09.35 hours on 12 Feb 1940 the unescorted and neutral Dalarö was torpedoed and sunk by U-53 west of Scotland. The master was lost. The survivors were picked up by the Belgian trawler Jan de Waele and landed at Buncrana, Loch Swilly. |
