| Notes on event | At 02.02 hours on 3 November 1942 the Chr. J. Kampmann (Master Martin Jensen) in convoy TAG-18 was hit by two stern torpedoes from U-160 and sank by the stern northwest of Grenada. 17 crew members and two gunners were lost. The master and seven crew members were picked up by USS Lea (DD 118), transferred to USS PC-495 and landed at Curaçao. | ||
