Gould & Co), Cardiff. 1920 sold to Gould Steamships & Industrial Ltd, London. 1925 sold to The Derwen Shipping Co Ltd (D.G. Hall & Co), London. 1931 sold to Heanton Shipping Co Ltd (W.T. Gould & Co Ltd), London. 1937 transferred to Cardigan Shipping Co Ltd for the same manager. 
Notes on event

At 01.19 hours on 2 Dec 1941 the unescorted Grelhead (Master Charles John Pirie) was torpedoed and sunk by U-562 two miles north of Punta Negri, Morocco. The master, 34 crew members and six gunners were lost. Two crew members were rescued and landed at Tangiers.
