Personal information
Daughter of Samuel and Sarah L. Etter (nee Glazeraite), of Harrisburg, PA. She was on passage aboard City of New York together with her mother, returning home from Luipaardsvlei, Transvaal, South Africa. They abandoned ship together in a lifeboat but it wasn’t located until 11 April 1942 and her mother died just hours before the occupants were rescued.
