Personal information
The pastor Frans Uno Salminen, his wife Saga Linnea Miranda, their three children Kai Uno, Kate Maria and Johan Magnus and the orphan Armas Olavi Manninen had been passengers on Caroline Thordén which was sunk by German aircraft near the Faroe Islands on 26 March 1941. They went aboard Venezuela to continue their voyage to South America and all perished in the sinking.Sources
