Personal information
Son of Andreas and Clementina Ceuppens (nee Merveille), of Antwerp; husband of Honor Ceuppens (nee Baxter), of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He abandoned ship in the lifeboat in charge of the chief officer when Gandia was sunk, but died of exposure on 12 February 1942.
