Personal information
Son of Mary Clannon, of Little Anse, Nova Scotia. He served aboard Montrolite together with his brother Peter Martin Clannon. They were both lost in the sinking, reportedly one of them was about to get in a lifeboat until he noticed his brother was missing, went back into the ship and was never seen again. Their first cousin Joseph E. Clannon was also aboard and survived.
