Personal information
Son of David and Euphemia Harrower, of Edinburgh, Scotland. He died of exposure in the lifeboat in charge of the third officer after the sinking of Larpool, only a few hours before the remaining occupants were rescued by HMCS Bittersweet. His body was recovered and buried at Halifax.
