Personal information
Son of Edmund Lewis and Mary Regina Evans; husband of Dorothy B. Evans, of New York, NY. He served in the US Naval Reserve as Chief Electrician on active duty in radio stations of the 4th Naval District from 14 April 1917 to 16 April 1919.
He survived the sinking of Hahira, but was lost during repatriation aboard Parismina.
