Personal information
Son of David Nichols and Sarah Elizabeth Pryse; husband of Rose Emily Pryse, of Roath Park, Cardiff. He was awarded the OBE for his actions during and after the sinking of Tewkesbury, but when this was published in the London Gazette he had already been lost while in command of Newbury.
