Personal information
Son of William and Margaret Morris. He was lost on his first voyage with the Merchant Navy. His older brother William John Morris also served in the Merchant Navy and experienced a U-boat attack when the British steam merchant Fort Camosun was torpedoed and damaged by the Japanese submarine I-25 (Tagami) off the coast of Washington on the night of 20 June 1942.
