Personal information
Son of Johan Andersen, of Espelid, Samnanger. Peter Andersen became a gunner at Camp Norway at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, after surviving the sinking of Norness. He was one of 16 survivors from Torvanger who were picked up by Ruys and landed at Liverpool on 6 July 1942.
