Personal information
Son of John P. and Mary Ethel Waters, of Wildwood, FL. He had been badly injured during the sinking of Alaskan when he was crushed between the lifeboat and the side of the ship. He died in a hospital the first night after the boat made landfall at Salinas, Brazil and was buried there.
