HMS St. Zeno (Lt. J.K. Craig, RNVR) picks up 18 survivors from the British merchant Queen Anne that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-509 8 nautical miles south-south-west of Cape Agulhas, South Africa in position 34°53'S, 19°51'E.
