that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-123 about 158 nautical miles west of Rockall in position 56°44'N, 19°13'W.
HMS Sandwich also picks up 5 survivors from the British merchant Tymeric that was also torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-123 about 350 nautical miles west-north-west of Malin Head in position 57°00N, 20°30'W.
