The German merchant vessel Konsul Hendrik Fisser (4458 GRT, built 1928) is captured between Iceland and the Faeroer Islands in approximate position 63°00'N, 12°00'W by HMS Calypso (Capt. N.J.W. William-Powlett, DSC, RN). The vessel could not be boarded due to the weather conditions but her crew did not scuttle the ship, probably also due to the weather conditions. She was eventually boarded the next day by which time also three trawlers from the Northern Patrol had arrived. The ship was then taken to Leith by a prize crew.

This convoy departed Durban on 14 February 1943 and arrived at Bombay on 3 March 1943.
The convoy was made up of the following transports / troopships; Felix Rousell (French, 17083 GRT, built 1930) and Yoma (British, 8131 GRT, built 1928).
The convoy was escorted by the light cruiser HMS Dauntless (Capt. N.J.W. William-Powlett, DSC, RN), escort destroyer HMS Catterick (Lt. A. Tyson, RN) and corvette HMS Jasmine (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) C.D.B. Coventry, RNR).
HMS Catterick and HMS Jasmine parted company with the convoy at 2359C/16 after which they returned to Durban.
Around 0900C/21, the transport Eastern Prince (British, 10926 GRT, built 1929) and the armed merchant cruiser HMS Ranpura (Capt.(Retd.) H.T.M. Pawsey, RN) joined the convoy after which HMS Dauntless parted company and proceeded to Kilindini where she arrived around 1200C/22.
