Having completed a minelaying mission of Ile de Batz (Operation G.U.) during the night of 19/20 March 1941, HMS Icarus (Lt.Cdr. C.D. Maud, DSC and Bar, RN), HMS Impulsive (Lt.Cdr. W.S. Thomas, DSC, RN) and HMS Intrepid (Cdr. R.C. Gordon, DSO, RN), arrived at Dartmouth at 0715/20. (1)
